Mangaluru's Dasara festivities saw a moment of glamour this year as Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt made an appearance, causing excitement among fans. Arriving via private jet, Sanjay began his visit by paying his respects at the Kateel Durga Parameshwari temple. He then proceeded to the Biruver Kudla grounds to take part in the Oodhu Pooja, a traditional ritual linked to the tiger dance, much to the delight of the onlookers. Welcomed with enthusiastic cheers from admirers calling him 'Sanju Baba', he expressed his happiness, stating, "I am delighted to be here in Mangaluru," and commended the local hospitality. Sanjay reassured fans of his well-being and shared his elation at witnessing the energetic tiger dance performances. Additionally, he charmed the crowd by reciting his famous 'Pachaas tola' dialogue, prompting a thunderous applause. His visit wrapped up with a visit to the Kudroli Gokarnath Temple, before he returned to Mumbai just in time to extend his condolences to the family of the late Maharashtra politician, Baba Siddique.
